Go back in time with the 35th Annual Fair at New Boston held at George Rogers Clark Park! This historical event will take you back 200 years for an adventure beginning with the raising of a 15 star flag, opening ceremonies, food vendors with specialities like Scotch eggs, local merchants showcasing their pottery, herbs, handmade furniture, jewelry, clothing from the frontier era, a Native American village and more! You’ll also find special activities like a balloon flight, comedy at the Cheapside Theater, puppets, magicians, a battle reenactment and cannon!

Ferncliff Cemetery: Sacred and Symbolic Walking Tour

Where: Ferncliff Cemetary

With over 240 acres of beautiful landscape and rolling hills, this cemetery was planned during the Civil War as Springfield’s new rural cemetery. Come listen to a historian speak about those resting here and how Springfield’s history is preserved in stone. Tickets required.

MarketFEST ’17

Springfield OH Rotary Food Truck Competition Returns August 12!

If you enjoy sampling local food and spending a summer afternoon outdoors, you will want to mark your calendar for the annual Springfield OH Rotary Food Truck Competition! The competition returns on August 12 from 11 AM to 9 PM in the Veteran’s Park Amphitheater and will feature 35 regional food trucks all competing for the grand prize of $10,000! This year’s event will also include live music throughout the day and a beer garden.

The 2017 Springfield Ohio Rotary Food Truck Competition marks its fourth year and with the addition of a mobile app, attendees can vote for their favorite food truck much easier than ever before! Attendees of the competition can simply download the Springfield Food Truck app and vote for one truck from the beginning of the event until 30 minutes prior to the awards— with this year including a “People’s Choice” award!

Annual Rotary BBQ and Fireworks

There is nothing more patriotic than celebrating the Fourth of July with great BBQ and a fireworks display! Music will be provided by the Arts Council and should it rain, the venue will change to the Gloria Theatre.

Fourth of July Car Show and Swap Meet
